I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago. I had a problem after one month with the ice maker an error message. Then this month the unit started making noise. It went on for two days. The error message came back. I contacted Best Buy first made an appointment for a service visit but no one showed up. I then contacted LG directly because this was within warranty. They made an appointment. No one showed up. I contacted LG again. They made an appointment and confirmed that the appointment had been accepted by a technician. No one showed up. I spent over 90 minutes on the phone trying to find someone accountable who would send a service technician. Ultimately after a dozen or more calls an LG tech arrivedwithout the part. A Sears technician came the next week and installed a part that was shipped. Then the unit worked great for one day. It doesnt hold the temperature like it had before. But the ice maker works great And it only took three weeks

Broke in 6 months

Bought this 6 months ago and my I maker stops making ice and displays an error code that is intermittent. It will last for a day or two and the work properly. Because I am in the 1 year warranty period I reached out to customer service who told me to unplug it empty the contents defrost it for 8 hours and wait 24-48 for it to resume to normal operation. I found this totally unacceptable and know I know why there was a class action suit filed against them. I bought this before knowing that based on Consumer Reports high ranking. It has been 2 weeks since they agreed to send a service technician to look at it. They report they do not have one on Cape Cod Massachusetts and would arrange for an independent repair person. I received a text yesterday telling me the one they found hasnt responded and did I want them to find another. What a stupid question No I dont mind having a new appliance which is still in the warranty period not work properly. Are they that clueless or is this just an attempt to string this along past the warranty period. Very disappointed and hope they will follow through and either replace the board that controls the ice maker and give me a new refrigerator.

I replaced an LG refrigerator that was a great product we had for 18 years. This model had several issues: 1 Doors do not close by itself. Unless manually pushed to close doors swing open. 2 MAJOR ISSUE: Water dispensed taste like plastic/chemicals. I ensured we used PEX waterline and my plumbing do not have any issues. I believe water that stays in some container in refrigerator picks up something from the materials used is my suspicion. 3 Model also do not dispense ice in freezer. I didnt know this till refrigerator was delivered

Although LGs Inverter Linear units appear to be a much quieter appliance in comparison to LGs conventional compressor this is a sufficient replacement. Unfortunately the in the door ice maker does not fall into the sufficient category. While conserving space compromises must be made. In general like all of my LG appliances my complaints are minimal.

Starting with LGs outstanding record of reliability Friends that had purchased your products expressed to us their pleasures with the quality and lasting stability of their purchases. Then came the sales people who did a great job of listening and staying within the Levels Needs and price limits that we could afford. Then came what we found as a real surprise the Delivery men They unpacked installed cleaned up and showed real concern that we understood all the functions of our new refrigerator. So that in a nut shell is why we are very happy our interaction with LG. All I can say is: our refrigerator looks great works well and fits our budget Who could ask for anything else?

I bought this 3 months ago. I love the size of the refrigerator but was disappointed in the amount of ice. It is just not enough for a family of 4. The ice maker actually gave us issues from the start and it ultimately ended up making a loud humming noise and quit altogether. After calling customer service they did send someone to come fix it but only after I defrosted the refrigerator. It was frustrating to have to empty the entire thing in order for them to repair the ice maker.

I bought this through COSTCO and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had ... starting with 3 unneeded attempted delivery visits due to totally incompetent installers. Them the LG did not hold the temperature even close internally and the water inlet valve produced a dribble at the best even a week after delivery. I was FINALLY visited by an excellent LG tech it took a week to schedule this visit via Costco again and was told the LG did not work with a reverse osmosis system which was installed for my old fridge and there was no way around the problem undocumented in the lit I read before I bought the fridge. So the fridge went back and I purchased a different brand that CAN deal with the reverse osmosis system via a bypass filter.

Im enjoying my new refrigerator/freezer. There is plenty of room for storage in the refrigerator as well as in the freezer. However I would have liked the ice and water dispensers to be able to dispense even when the right side refrigerator door is open. Also the opening for the dispenser needs to be about 2-3 inches taller to accommodate the drink bottles we use frequently. The finish is indeed fingerprint proof which is a great feature.

We LOVE our new LG fridge that we purchased from Lowes. This was a replacement to the years old fridge that came with our house about 5 years. Great features - especially the in-door ice maker No more wasting fridge space...tons of room in both the freezer drawer and the fridge itself. Very happy with our purchase

Purchased refrigerator through Lowes - excellent price and delivery. Very pleased with purchase. Enjoying the upper double doors lots of room lower bottom freezer lots of room with water and ice on door. Spent the first weeks sorting out where everything goes - very good door shelf space. Really like the ice maker unit with an internal door that opens from inside can then check level of ice in bin. Needed to adjust temp for both frig and freezer - found factory settings too cold. Needs additional freezer divider to help separate different meat groups. Compared very well with options for other brands. Still working - love it.

Love our new LG fridge from Best Buy

We purchased this 28 sq. ft. refrigerator a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it.3-Door with cold water icemaker on 1 door and a separate draw in the bottom freezer with ice cube storage. It has so much room and digital temperature controls on the outside of the door.

Not what we expected from a brand new fridge that the Appliance store raved about. We were under the impression when we purchased the fridge that there was a ice maker in the freezer. There is not. The ice machine on the door has had issues which we are having fixed since the first day. Inside of the fridge is nice and spacious but the crisper draw feels a little cheap
