We replaced our built in GE Monogram which quit while we were traveling. Mold required we replace the entire unit. We chose the Kitchenaid and very satisfied with unit. Hopeful we can enjoy 10 years!

Wonderful Unit!

We had a 48" version of this same fridge at our previous house and liked it so well that when we remodeled the kitchen in this home we just went with it again. The 42" version was better for this floor plan

Good value

The last one I had went 15 years before it failed. If this one does the same I'll be happy. Good value for the price.

Very nice Refrigerator, some installation problems

I purchased this KitchenAid built-in refrigerator from Ferguson Showroom in Ann Arbor, MI. The showroom staff was helpful and I like the refrigerator. However, it was delivered with the front kick-plates missing. It's been 2+ weeks, and after several calls, I still don't have resolution on getting the kick plates. The model I bought does not have a water and ice dispenser, which I miss ... but that was my choice

I bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago, having previously owned a 42" side-by-side Kitchenaid refrigerator. The new refrigerator is more flimsy and less solidly built than the old; --n the booklet of instructions is cheapie, cheapie (printed on cheap paper and not easy to follow; whereas the old book was substantial and well-organized) -- the shelf organization is hopeless, with shelves so close to each other that very little fits in. If you remove a shelf, the refrigerator does not have adequate capacity. -- the fruit and vegetable bins do not have independent humidity controls I am very disappointed in this refrigerator and would not buy a KitchenAid again. -- the freezer shelves are too shallow with the result that many things simply don't fit in.
